The sprinkler rough-in has generally passed and the piping above hardlids can be covered. There are several problems 1. The exterior walls have wood sheating with only insulation and a vapor barrier and no upright sprinkler protection, 2. Earth quake bracing is not attached to the building structure but is attached to the wall studs, 3. Ball drip is mounted outside of the building, 4. Approved plans show all branchlines coming from the sides of the main but as installed all branchlines come off of the main piping on riser nipples which will effect the hydraulic calculations. Plans need to be resubmitted.

Went to job site and the contractor was ready but I found that the fire alarm interconnection had been performed without a permit. No inspection was performed.
