BLD10-02647 FIRE-Final Inspection12/7/201012/7/201012/7/2010 2:11:06 PMPFAIL
The project was not ready for an inspection but Matt and I went over life safety requirements. The existing smoke alarms that are present in part of the tenant space will need to be removed. This work will not require a permit and will be verified complete on the final inspection. Also the exterior doors that were not shown on the approved plans, per Carl, can remain but they either have to have complying hardware or the locks blanked off and all hardware and closures removed so that they do not give the appearance of an exit.
FIR10-00600 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in12/7/201012/7/201012/7/2010 2:07:48 PMPPART
The work shown on the approved plans has been completed but on a walk through of the project I found two more overspace pendant heads and one painted head that will need replacing.
FIR10-00470 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in/Hydro12/7/201012/7/201012/7/2010 2:03:08 PMPPASS
The overhead hydro test passed for the service area. The sprinkler rough-in is complete for the service area except for the piping on the second floor corridor has been covered and can not be inspected. This piping will need to be exposed for inspection. The issue came up on finaling this permit when the service area was complete. This can not be done since the new addition (service area) and the existing building are under the same permit and the same scope of work. All of the remaining work would need to be completed or the sprinkler plans, possibly fire alarm plans, including the building plans, would need to be resubmitted to modify the scope of work to match the installed work.
