Complaint from water treatment plant (located on the river west of Warm Springs Golf course) personnel regarding elevated levels of sediment. They contacted EPA, epa noticed sediment laden water exiting construction site upriver from Boulder Heights Subdivision. Carla Fromm (EPA) telephoned S.Webb (Boise City) at 3:45 pm. Ms Fromm requested I meet with her and a DEQ (Hawk Stone) rep at site. Meet on site, I contacted RP from contractor (Central Paving) Dan Feldman. We all meet at job site, reviewed job site. Appears sediment laden water exiting site from unprotected retention basin (located directly north of Warms Springs Ave). Directed contractor to take measures to prevent sediment laden water exiting site. Further follow up will occur. 12/9/2004 7:02:50 AM
