FIR11-00642 INSP-Final Inspection2/10/20122/13/20122/13/2012 1:05:49 PMPFAIL
Todays inspection covered the new NAC panel and its interconnection with the existing FACP the testing of the new smoke detectors in Corridor 222 and the fire sprinkler riser tamper switches. The location of the inspectors tests were not immediately known. Heights and spacing of all of the new audio/visuals was also performed. I found several locations wheres a/v's were missing, a/v's overspaced and manual pull stations missing. The duct smoke detectors and NAC circuit testing was not performed. I spoke to Chad with Bishop Kelly about signage on the FACP room door and the fire sprinkler riser room door. I spoke to Colton about as-builts showing the door holder being deleted in Corridor 222.

Justin had questions about the fire sprinkler coverage. It appears one pendant head in the new restroom needs to be plugged and the insulation at the roof repaired since it is obstruction the upright sprinkler coverage in several locations. I also went over fire extinguisher requirements with him
FIR11-00479 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in2/10/20122/13/20122/13/2012 8:45:24 AMAFAIL
The pipe size installed in Corridor 222 does not match the approved plans. Also per the fitter some pipe routing changes were needed in the remote area. Piping can not be covered.
