Todays inspection was for placement of notification devices and testing of the duct smoke detectors. See the city approved plans for locations where a/v's in the kitchen have been mounted too high. A weather proof a/v will be required in the Dish Washing room. The two abandoned manual pull stations in the Kitchen will need to be removed. EOL voltages will need to be verified especially since some of the strobes have been set at brighter setting than is required. Testing of the duct smoke detectors passed with minor modifications/repairs while I waited. Remote indicators will be required at all of the duct smoke detectors that have been installed on the same circuit. This includes the phase I devices. As-builts are required showing the new circuitry and a map provide for the FACP.

See the city approved plans for piping clouded in red that was inspected. The installation itself appears ok except plans need to be resubmitted showing the pipe routing changes on the gridded portion of the sprinkler system. Branchlines and mains have both been moved with additional fittings but in some instances fittings eliminated. Final locations of pendants have not been inspected yet.

Permit finaled. Each individual apartment block is reporting as a separate address to the monitoring station.
