The conference was to address exiting issues from the south exit into the fenced tower yard. Jim Sly and myself told the contractor to either provide a gate so that employees could exit all the way out to the "area of refuge" or resubmit to plan review for approval to use the fenced tower yard as a gathering point.

I did a walk through with Jay. Some of the correction items have been taken care of. See the print off of the job history that is in Jay's posession for items corrected and items still needing corrected.

Remove the thumbturn lock from the main exit. Keyed hardware is ok. Provide sticker "Door to remain unlocked while building is occupied" at the main exit. Remove the manual flush bolts from the inactive leaf of the main exit. Automatic flush bolts are ok. Atleast two sprinkler pendants are too close to one another. This work will require permits. Remove the metal bar from the rear exit. This includes brackets.

A racking permit is required. Exit signs/emergency lights need to be tested. Exit discharge lighting is to be provided. Jeff is going to contact plan review about pushing the exit sign/emergency lights/exit discharge light requirements off until the building permit for the remodel has been issued.
