Need the project related fire sprinkler underground and overhead permits finaled. Need the project related fire alarm permit finaled. A stand alone smoke alarm is being required to be added in the Infant room as per the Assistant Fire Marshal. A separate permit is needed for the second business located in this building. Deadbolts need to be removed. Approved hardware is needed on the Restroom Barn Doors. Fire extinguishers need to be mounted. Exit signs and emergency lights need to be tested. Small documents need to be on site. An address needs to be installed as discussed.

Hood suppression system functioned correctly

Todays inspection was for the second floor. I noted that the piping and pendant heads had not been installed where shown on the plans. This caused heads to be overspaced off walls, blocked by walls and located too close to each other in many locations. I also noted that the insulation needs to be "pocketed" around the piping to the dry sidewall heads in many locations and it also needs to be placed above the piping in several locations. I also noted a lack of coverage in the lobby area on the second floor and the first floor that Jim Danes is going to address. Also additional fittings have been added in to the gridded system that will need to be verified with hydraulic calculations to the plan reviewer.

No city approved plans or small documents on site. I did witness the audio/visual devices function in the scope of work but someone has disabled the devices on the rest of the floor. These devices will need to be repaired and tested prior to a final sign off.

Permit finaled

A temporary for life safety is being given until the permanant address is provided and the fire extinguisher is mounted with current tag as discussed.
