The shell permit has not been finaled yet. The on site contact did not have drawings or notes for the shell permit so I could not perform an inspection. The building address needs to be installed so that it faces the named street. When shell permit is finaled and the address provided this tenant permit life safety inspection can be passed..

The inspection today was only for the cafeteria. One truss in the southwest corner had been damaged as a result of the improper installation of a sprinkler pipe hanger. I contacted Jim Sly and described the problem to him. Jim said it should not be an issue. Additional insulation was required above the upright heads in the northwest corner of the cafeteria and it was installed as I waited. It appears that all of the hangers that I spot checked today were in need of relocating as based on yesterdays inspection. I gave the general contractor permission to cover just the cafeteria and a small rectangular storage room on the west side of the gymnasium. A representative of Kreisenbeck Construction again asked if the classrooms could be covered. I stated that if the were covered all ceiling tile would have to be removed for my inspection. I also stated that myself and Jim Sly had told Nacho previously that no ceilings were to be installed.
