I went over inspection procedures and order of completion with the superintendant.

The original panel was replaced after it was blown up due to high voltage backfeed from the ansul suppression system. The duct smoke detectors did not shut down the hvac units. The backflow preventor tamper switch needs to be on a separate zone which will cause modifications to the existing zone arrangement. As-builts are required but plan resubmittals are not. An updated map for the facp is required as well. The system will need to be retested once the zones have been redone.

See the approved plans for locations where the sprinkler piping can be covered. I noted two quick responce upright heads that will need to be changed to standard responce and the earthquake bracing attacments are not utilizing through bolts as required per NFPA 13 for wood members.

Life safety passed

No inspection was performed due to the project related fire alarm not being complete.

Provide a hydro test for the new portion of the sprinkler system since it includes 22 sprinkler heads and can be isolated. Provide as-builts showing the piping changes and the additional pendants in the remote area. Replace the flat face(hex)bushings and provide on piece reducing fittings. Provide access to the inside of the coolers to verify storage heights and sprinkler obstructions. Provide verification of the annual inspection on the sprinkler system.
