Piping was not ready for inspection when I stopped at the project the first time. I could not make it back due to schedule when the piping was ready. Per Sam and I's discussion this will be rescheduled for monday.

Permit finaled. THe zone 4 description at central station had to be changed but was done and retested while I waited.

A temporary occupancy was given with scott arellanos permision until the additional smoke alarm is installed in the vestibule between the staff sleeping rooms as per the city approved fire alarm plans. Once installed this device will need to be tested. I also need the final paper work.

A temporary occupancy was given with scott arellano's permission. The existing fire alarm system needs to be extended into this new corridor. During my walk through of the existing building I found what appears to be non-compliant audio/visual portion of a fire alarm system. I found some rooms with smoke detectors, some at what appear to be fire doors. I also found strobes overspaced in one room and another with a ceiling mounted horn. I spoke to the superintendant, Ron, about contacting tim woodard in plan review to get the fire dept. involved with this.
