A temporary occupancy was given until the correction notice items are corrected.
FIR07-00174 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in3/15/20073/16/20073/16/2007 1:32:19 PMPFAIL
Piping on the main level has changed and heads added. As-builts will be required prior for final. Main level piping can be finished covering. The lower level piping could not be verified since all piping was buried above insulation. I notified the contractor and the builder via phone that the insulation had to come down.
FIR07-00102 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in3/15/20073/16/20073/16/2007 12:36:45 PMAFAIL
Top of underground pipe varies from 3-11 1/2 to 4-1 below the pavement. 4-6 is required. Pipe needs to be lower.
FIR05-00536 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in3/15/20073/16/20073/16/2007 12:21:36 PMAPASS
See the city approved plans for the location where the piping on the third floor is not ok to cover. All other areas on the third floor are ok to cover
BLD07-00295 FIRE-Final Inspection3/15/20073/16/20073/16/2007 11:49:29 AMAFAIL
I posted Do Not Occupy stickers/signs at both of the main exit doors and took pictures of their placement. The signs have been posted due to the fact that the public was being encouraged to enter the building. And per the owner a grand opening is scheduled for tomorrow. The fire sprinkler permit final inspection failed for multiple reasons, see fire sprinkler permit for details. Also per the building review comments exit signs and emergency lights were to be field verified. It is obvious that more exit signs will be required. Only one fire extinguisher was there and it was expired. Atleast three other fire extinguishers are needed. Also phase 1 is not complete as per the phase 1 area shown on the plans. No sprinkler inspection was performed, see fire permit notes, and no fire life safety inspection was performed due to the fire sprinkler permit being failed.
FIR07-00177 INSP-Final Inspection3/15/20073/16/20073/16/2007 11:43:05 AMAFAIL
No approved plans were on site. I also found multiple defieciencies such as booths with ceiling and no coverage, booths with cloth ceilings (need flame spread rate) and pendants located too close to the walls under the soffit that follows the exterior wall. Plans also do not include the work that is shown to be phase 1 work on the building plans. Resubmittals will be required prior to another inspection.
FIR06-00953 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in3/15/20073/16/20073/16/2007 9:42:56 AMAPASS
The only items needing correcting are the removal of the remaining sprig-ups and the addition of one hanger
