gas regulator at water heater needs to have a shutoff valve and sediment trap before the regulator. Regulator shall be mounted in horizontal position unless stated differently by manufacturer. Need to have test port 10 pipe diameters downstream of regulator. Need to complete termperature pressure relief drain and condensate drain to an approved location.
