Inspected the discharge point from Welling into the river. Discharge clarity is good. Additional structual controls and stabilization of bare ground each side of the channel is needed ASAP. Informed rep from Wetlands that controls and options are needed now considering that spring runoff will be occurring very soon and that typically flows will be increasing on the Boise River which could impact the Welling channel. With as much bare ground and increase flows on Wellings the probability of soil particle detachment will increase. Will follow up new week.
