Adele;

Good news, bad news.

The good news is that there is no kitchen equipment; no grills, fryers, hood, nuthin.

The bad news is that they’ve built a very beefy mezzanine area above the bar, overlooking the stage, approximately 20’ x 24’. It has a full set of stairs with railings (with rope lights) that comes down into the main floor of the club, and a nice railing across the front (see attached pictures). Justin says it’s for storage.

They put a plywood floor above the storage room in the front, and actually have storage up there.

Anyway, I gave him a notice to immediately stop use of the balcony and get his design professional to draw up plans for it, and get them submitted. I also warned him that it most likely means that he’s going to need sprinklers, or he’ll be dismantling the balcony.

They also plan to proceed with the kitchen project.
