I met Mike Jordan and the building superintendant and discussed the apparent combustible concealed space at the main entry. New sheating being installed is fire rated but the existing sheating appears not to be fire rated. Therefore sprinkler protection will be required or meeting one of the exceptions in chapter 8 of NFPA 13.

Provide annual inspection for the existing fire sprinkler system, provide verification of monitoring and power up the fire alarm system, provide fire extinguishers with current inspection tags place within 75' of travel mounted in a normal path of travel between 5' and 4: A.F.F., provide exit discharge lighting and the missing exit sign per the plans, remove the dead bolt from the rear door, repair the hole in the riser room wall (one hour separation required) and resubmit plans showing the door/wall assembly in the exit corridor and add exit sign/emergency lighting as shown.
