I spoke with the job superintendant for CNI Construction about the need for an additional fire alarm permit for the connection of the canopy anti-freeze system control valve into the existing fire alarm system located at 104 Milwaukee. This fire alarm work is not covered under the new PetsMart fire alarm system. I let him know that I could not sign off on the building until this additional permit has atleast been submitted for review. He said he would let the associated parties know.

Permit will be ready to final when a fire alarm permit has been submitted for the new butterfly valve to be connected to the existing fire alarm system. I let the ken with American Fire and the PetsMart job superintendant that I would not final their permits until a fire alarm permit had been issued for this additional valve. This is due to the canopy permit, which this valve controls, being associated with the PetsMart permit.

Provide occupant load signs for each of the two conference room that is separated by the folding wall, provide panic hardware on the west most door on the conference room and provide panic hardware on the exterior exit door in Hall 118 (as marked on the plans) also repair the existing exit signs and emergency lights.
