Due to extensive routing modifications, swing joints and additional sprinkler heads plan modifications will be needed for this project. Don is going to provide verification the pipe straps and screws are listed for hanging the 2" mains. Siesmic restraints are required for the branchlines. There is wood at the top of the old fire place so sprinkler protection as per the plans will be required. There appears to be an addtional combustible concealed space near the kitchen that will need sprinkler protection.

The hvac unit in the second floor sewing room failed to shutdown when the duct smoke detector was activated. The flow switch alarms do not latch as required and the outside electric alarm bell did not function. Per Robert the 5 year elevator inspection is going to require the fire mans hat to function correctly. He would like to waite until this elevator work is complete prior to testing/finaling this permit.

No city approved plans/notes on site. I went over general life safety requirements with the builder. He currently has thumbturn deadbolts on all doors which will probably be an issue. Also needs address.

life safety passed. Door #2, west facing door, per the plans is required to have panice hardware. Before the building inspection the door is to be provided with the approved hardware or the keyed hardware needs to be approved by plan review.
