I found that the existing fire alarm system had devices that had been removed by ADT for construction. No plans had been approved/issued for this work. I spoke to the general contractor and let him know that approved plans are required and that there would be no sign offs for final or for any phasing of the project until plans had been submitted, issued and the work completed.

The east most double exit doors that are shown to be removed and infilled have been left as existing. They will need single action hardware installed or approval is needed from the plan reviewer to leave as is or to remove them as an exit all together.

I called and left message on Craig's voice mail on the way and call when I arrived at the site. I asked for him with the security lady at the front deck but did not make contact. I noted that the exit sensor at the main exit has been disabled with a sign posted that says you must use your badge to exit the facility. No inspection was performed.

Provide single action hardware and remove the thumbturn deadbolt on the north exit door and mount the fire extinguisher. I spoke with the owner about doors that are swinging the wrong way as marked in red on the plans.
