1. All stairwells and openings from the outside into the basement space will be left open during occupied hours.
2. The garage door at ground level will be left open, essentially creating direct window openings to outside via the
windows located at the northwest corner of the basement. Said windows will be left opening during occupied hours
and a floor mounted fan shall be provided ventilate the space with outside air. The fan shall be mounted as close
as possible to the window opening, and the direction of airflow shall be into the basement space. Said fan shall
operate during all occupied hours and until the permanent outside air ventilation equipment is installed.
3. The required amount outside air for the basement space is 655 CFM. The contractor shall provide a portable fan
with minimum 1/2 HP motor, and minimum airflow of 655 CFM.
