Several items noted including exit aisles at the north warehouse area are blocked by product storage, one ESFR head is obstructed by a roof drain, missing fire dept. key box, need to repair two exit signs, missing fire door signage and max occupant signage, need to post building address, missing doors at the new vestibule, three heads at the office area are out of adjustment, missing discharge light at the south office exit, need additional fire extinguishers at the second level warehouse office and lower level riser room, project related fire sprinkler and alarm permits need finaled, no other life safety items reviewed at this time, some phases of construction are still underway, permanent occupancy at the remodeled office area is not permitted at this time per discussion with the contractor.

Fire life safety final pending project related fire sprinkler work at the vault or compliance with IFC 2006 903.3.1.1.1 for exempt locations, also noted one EM light at the back exit hallway from the restrooms to be repaired and address number 510 posted on the correct doorway as discussed.
5/28/2008 - D. Hanneman denied a written request from the building owner to omit sprinkelrs from this vault. The Code does not exempt sprinklers in such spaces. (SLR)

Re-inspection completed for overhead rough-in at the second floor area I, noted several items still not corrected including seismic clearance at mains and block walls, missing or overspaced hangers, poorly attatched retaining straps, stairways are not finished, pendent heads at two locations in the corridor are overspaced off adjacent classroom entry vestibules. NOTE: Agreed to allow ceiling cover at the classrooms only due to contractor repairing missing hangers and ret. straps during the field inspection. See stamped plan set for annotated defficiencies.
