This permit was pulled by homeowner and he hired Shane Adkins, AKA ClogBusters, to perform the work of disconnecting a dwelling in behind the house from a septic system and tie it into the main house building sewer. After calling in for an inspection of work , I came by and inspected piping and from the violations that needed to be corrected and calling Shane to discuss corrections I decided to check with
DBS and Occupational licensing to see if he was licenced in any way to perform work..He was not. I contacted my supervisor and discussed options on how to best handle the problem. Lee also did a check on Shane and decided to meet him at site. I discussed situation with homeowner and let him know he was going to have to get another plumber or he could finish job himself. Lee issued a misdemeaner citation to Shane and will also send a civil penalty warning. Home owner completed job and was finaled................ds
