300.4- Where NM cable is run thru bored holes that do not maintain 1 1/4" from framing surface nail plates shall be installed to protect cables from physical damage. Corners drilled at 45 degree angles.
334.23- All NM cables in attic run within 7' of attic access shall be protected from damage by installed guard strips. Guard strips installed but NM cables run on top on guard strip.
334.30- NM cables shall have supports not to exceed 4 1/2'. 14-3 runs entire lengthh of kitchen with 0 support points.
