Rough-in inspection for the second floor areas J and I failed due to several items including incorrect seismic bracing, lacking clearance at mains and block wall penetrations, overspaced hangers, beam clamp retatining straps not attatched, pipe routing has been changed from approved plans at some locations including mains and branch lines as red lined on plans, hard lid ceilings at the restrooms have been installed without a cover inspection-need to provide access, stairways and electrical rooms are not yet completed, piping at the storage areas under the stair landings 1st floor does not match plan and SW heads installed are too low, several added branch line hangers at the first floor classroom wings are missing retaining strap attatchment.

Overhead fire sprinkler system modifications are approved per the scope of new work, however the existing upright heads at the remainder of the same fire area (spray booth) are in need of replacement due to excessive build-up of paint residue at the head elements and seats. Permit final pending completion of this work.

One smoke alarm at the second floor hallway at unit 2175 needs to be relocated due to proximity to the HVAC grill, skylight, and location closer than 3' to the bathroom door containing a shower-see fire code review notes for requirements, retested smoke alarm at unit 2173 repaired okay, remainder of life safety issues are acceptable.

Fire life safety finaled.

OH rough-in is approved for cover at the drop ceilings for the remainder of install as marked and initialed with today's date on approved plan set.
