1. FOOTING FROST PROTECTION - Footings and foundations shall be constructed of masonry, concrete or treated wood and shall extend a minimum of 24 inches below finished grade for frost protection. Footings of concrete and masonry shall be of solid material. Foundations supporting wood shall extend at least 6 inches above the adjacent finish grade. 1994 UBC 1806.1 & Boise City Code 4-02-15 expose to verify depth and size.

1. (Tenant demising walls) In buildings containing tenant spaces with occupancy groups classified as A, B, E, F, M, and S, each tenant space shall be separated from other spaces by a wall having a fire-resistive rating of not less than one hour. The tenant separation wall shall extend from the floor to the underside of the highest adjacent ceiling in either tenant space. If openings are provided, they shall be protected as required by the 1997 UBC for 1-hr fire-resistive corridors. (Boise City Building Code 4-02-14)
