Area in question is at the main entry lobby. Smoke detectors for door holder shutdown have been relocated from original installation and are not part of the submitted scope of work. No inspection performed. Spoke to contractor about what would be required for submitting the non-scope changed area. Also discussed requirement for submitting a plan modification for changes within the scope of work but are too extensive for field approval.

No testing was performed since a NetCom 5 or better was not available. I spoke to Stan Watts with AES and he stated that per UL a NetCom of 5 or better is required and this is backed up by the installation guide provided via email and forwarded to the fire alarm plan reviewer.

Need the project related fire alarm devices tested in the areas needing opened and the fire alarm contractor was not available nor was the inspection called in. I did a courtesy inspection and all appeared well but the city approved plans were not imediately available.
