I went over exit sign placement with mike. Per Carl Madsen exit signs and emergency lighting was required. I directed mike to place an exit sign/emergency light over the east double door exit, over the north double door exit and an exit sign over the double door exit out of the connecting breeze way. Exit discharge lighting would not be required. Mike showed me a non functional fire alarm panel located in the kitchen area. I let him know it would need to be functional or a permit would be required for its possible removal. There were painted smoke detectors in the east dining room ceiling. There were no city approved plans on site.

Jerry wanted to verify that a fire alarm system was not required for the Addecco T.I. space. Per Scott and Stephanie it appears that an alarm system is not required. The adjoining space appears to have a non required detection system for a FM200 suppresson system which has been submitted to have devices removed under a separate permit.
