The two fire doors have magnetic door hold opens to keep them open. These door hold opens have been installed and connected to the existing fire alarm system by the hotel maintenance staff. I met with the hotel manager and told him that to connect the devices to the facp panel permits will need to be aquired or remove the hold opens and allow the hydraulic closers to keep the doors shut.
