Todays test was for the smoke alarms for the third floors of Area "C". The smoke alarms passed testing. The fourth floor could not be tested due to capet work in the corridor.

Permit can be finaled when the ceiling tile has been installed. Interconnection of sprinkler devices with the facp tested except for the south canopy tamper switch that was not shown on the fire alarm plans.

Plan modifications need to be submitted showing the different model of facp installed, device address changes, additional tamper switches in the riser room and the addtional antifreeze loop (tamper switch) at teh front canopy. The plan modification needs to include revised EOL drops due to needing to increase the candellas of several strobes due to addtional strobes, overspacing of strobes shown and the need to increase the 15cd strobes to 30cd because the ceiling heights in the corridor exceeded their 10' maximum listing height. Secondary phone line programmed to be recognized as I waited. The smoke detector over the facp activated without being tested and while covered at the beginning of the inspection but did not give an un-announced repeat performance.
