Tenant did not have any of the review notes or small documents. The plan they had I was unable to verifiy if it was approved since the stamp location was not legible. However the racking layout, as shown on the plans, did not match what has been installed. I deferred him to plan review to submit a revised plans and request all small documents. Also the scope of work states 10' racking but the fire review notes state 12' racks and 12' max storage.

Devices as installed passed inspection but the new devices sound at temporal where as the existing devices are a solid tone. As discussed the contractor/owner will need to contact the Boise Fire Dept about a possible upgrade agreement to bring the existing devices into code compliance.

No actual testing was performed today. We did however perform a walk through and I noted strobes that are overspaced and acouple that are nmissing. There is a restroom in the northwest corner of the building that needs notification. There is a strobe in a restroom that is not shown on the plans. Several trobes are mounted too low. Several pull stations are mounted too high. As-builts need to be submitted. Plan reviewer may require plan modifications. See the city approved plans for corrections marked in red ink.

First, second and third floor piping rough-in passed. Piping can be covered. Tenting for third floor piping passed. The only piping that can not be covered is the 2" risers at the third floor since they have not been "caped" as discussed to protect the piping from freezing.
