FIR08-00471 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in/Hydro7/29/20087/29/20087/29/2008 4:40:47 PMPPART
Rough to cover Inspection is basically passed but as-builts are needed to show the supply piping changes from the basement to the second floor and the added head at the top of the stairs. Also the standard coverage sidewall heads in the garage are overspaced.

No approved plans on site. I went ahead and tested the smoke alarms and verified the placement of the fire extinguishers. Besides needing the approved plans on site the contractor needs to provide a building address on the street side of the building.

The tenting appears to be adequate.
FIR08-00487 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in7/28/20087/29/20087/29/2008 11:13:25 AMAFAIL
There were no approved plans on site. I went ahead and looked at what was in the trench and found 6" C900 pipe. The piping starts out at 4'-1" at the connection (sidewalk) and drops to 4'-3" below the wood on the side of the building at the thrust block/stub-in at the building. Actual grade is not known but I would assume it would be below the wood siding of the building which would make the pipe higher than the 4'3" as meaured at the thrust block. I notified Stan of what I had found by phone since he was not on site.
