Dust complaint received from neighbors....
Inspection observations:
Excavator was using garden hose to apply water to keep dust down when I arrived on site.
McAlvain had already sent his own inspector to make sure the workers were making effort to keep dust down. Excavator will place whirlie sprinkler oversite tomorrow morning.
Permit is posted and ESC plan is on site. BMPs are properly installed.
No violations, just a reminder to be conscious of dust conditions and to suppress as needed.

Dust control was inadequate on Monday with excessive fugitive dust and the ground dried out from inactivity on Sunday.
Now there is full time water truck and road sweeper on-site and the rock entrance has been restored.
Dust control efforts are satisfactory and are working well today. They are projected to finish this weekend.
