Per my interpretation of the drawings/scope of work atleast two exit signs are required, two fire extinguishers, new emergency lighting at the plane end of the tunnel and testing of the new lighting at the concourse end of the tunnel. Contractor is going to contact my supervisor to see if the intent is for the entire tunnel or just their new section.

Todays inspection was just for the jet-X 2% Foam Test. The system was activated by the smoke detectors and from time of smoke detector activation to discharge of foam was 5 seconds. The entire floor area to the walls and to a minimum depth of 2'-6" was achieved with-in 60 seconds. TVFP will provide documentation for the concentration, water flow and quantity of foam used. Also they need to provide the fire pump certification documents prior to a final sign off.
