Jim this is a instant heat water heater that the owner has put on the back of his house. I don't know the plumbing code section that says you can not do this because of freezing. Will you do this.
Met with contractor 8-14-12 for inspection on tankless water heater installed outside of home that was installed by homeowner that he purchased from standard plumbing supply. Informed contractor that city does not allow water supplies to run exterior of building. I approved gas line only to water heater so the occupants can have meter turned on by intermountain gas.
