As requested by the Contractor (Brown) met with inspector 460 and J. Brown to review dewatering of sewer trenches. Water is not infiltrating fast enough to keep work going. Well point had been inserted and according to the contractor a ACHD permit has been secured to use the existing stormwater basin to manage water. Since well casing and pump was pumping clean water it was suggested to use the outfall culvert to discharge the clean water offsite to reduce water volumn. It was stated directly to the contractor for compiance clean water only may be discharged offsite. This is the end which is expected, clean water discharges only offsite. Inspector 460 will follow up.
