TCO prewalk inspection. Fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems tested and in-service up through the 4th floor (5th floor not ready yet). Both systems have minor punchlist items to addess. Egress and emergency lighting tested fully. The added EM light on the front exterior is temporary, otherwise this is complete. Fire access road to the east is usable and barricades should be removed. Scaffolding is being taken down, except for NW exterior, which allows egress and access to egress windows. Knox box has building keys installed. Fire extinguishers and EVAC plans are present. Area of Refuge comm. system still needs to be tested after phone lines are installed and operational. Fire is OK for TCO up to the 4th floor, while minor punchlist items are beig addressed., and the fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems remain in service at all times.

Final walk through inspection of all fire sprinkler systems up to the 4th floor. The is one room (closet 360) that needs to have a sprinkler added, due to an extension of the room from the original plan. There are also some sprinklers (mostly patio heads) that are covered to protect from painting that is on-going on the south side of the building. Fianl signoff is pending the completion and inspection of the 5th floor units and corridors.

Fire alarm testing is completed for the building up to and including the 4th floor (5th floor is not completed yet). All fire sprinkler systems are in service and all fire alarm devices are also in service. I did find some units on the 4th floor that still had their protective cap on their room SDs, and these should be removed before releasing the unit to the resident. The FACP is fully monitored and is being put into service at the end of each day.

Fire life-safety inspection was called in for Tower 3 portion of the building, however for use and access to Tower 3 units, residents would have to have egress through Tower 4 corrdior to access th e southeast stairway. Tower 4 corridor is not complete yet, as most unit doors, which are fire/smoke assemblies, do not have their door hardware installed. Therefore Tower 4 corrdior is not complete, and Tower 3 units cannot be used until it is completed.

Fire Life-safety inspection to inspect egress path for parking garage, and to ensure that exit signage and emerency lighting is adequate for this pathway. Tested OK for exit signage and EM lighting.

Functional test of all fire sprinkler systems with fire alarm interface, including dry pie valve trip tests, low air alarms, wet system waterflows, all tampers, exterior bell activation, etc. All systems tested OK and were put into service at the end of the day. Inspection occurred 8/15.
