I met with ED and discussed fire life safety items. They stated that they knew a fire alarm permit would be required for modifications to annunciation since separate apartments are now one. It appears the sprinkler protection will remain ok. I let him know that the building sprinkler system will need to be current with its annual inspection and that I would need to have the exit sign/emergency lights in the path of egress tested.

A one week temporary occupancy was given with Scotts permission until the updated points map is provided, as discussed, and as requested on the previous inspection. Also the existing exit signs that are non-functional or barley functional need to be repaired. Also the main sprinkler has been previously set up to be partially close for the tamper switch to reset. This partial closed position can not be allowed and per verbal agreement will be addressed as well.

Provide exit signs and emergency lighting on all floors as redlined by myself and Carl Westfall on the city approved plans. Also resubmit plans showing the new door at the basement intermediate level stairs being deleted. The "nuclear" exit signs are good until 2017.
