Continued inspection completed 8/27 afternoon and evening by F. France and B. Johnson for the remainder project related fire alarm permit work FIR09-00296 including correction items. Room signage, building map, program changes, and breaker lock okayed, vesda faults tested okay, signals at main FACP verified, low air supervisory signals tested, alert and alarm signals sent/recieved, transport times at several systems measured and found to be under max. time limits, systems 22, 23, 24, 25 and 17 passed, system 18 failed. Continued testing while system 18 repaired. Sequence of operation passed for the freezer systems including rack systems 26,27,28,29, and area served. Repairs at system 18 modules and VESDA completed and retested okay per B. Johnson. Final pending NFPA 72 record of inspection and testing and record of completion documents for signature.

See inspection notes per site visit by T. Frost -Ok to cover. However, there is inadequate coverage under the outside canopy on both levels. I advised the fitter that due to the limited water supply it may be inadvisable to cover the piping until a new plan was designed for protection of the outside canopies. The pipe size may be inadequate to supply all of the sidewall sprinklers.
