Contractor reported open splices and flexible cords and data cables ran through out intire store area above grid. NEC 300.15-Boxes where required. Conduit or cable a box shall be installed at each conductor splice point. NEC 300.11- All wiring and cables shall not be secured to or supported by the ceiling assembly. Grandfathered in OK. NEC 400.8- Flexible cords shall not be ran through holes in structural ceiling or ren above structural ceiling. All extension cords, or plug strips located above grid shall be removed.
