IA temporary occupancy was given with steve kieters permission. The items needing addressed are removing the wood bar across the northwest exit door, provide single action hardware for both the active and inactive leaves of the secondary front exit doors and removing the thumbturn and the manual flush bolts from the east exit door. I went over possible options with the owner Zach. One of which was providing keyed hardware on the east non required exit and placing a display in front of the door.

I went over life safety requirements with the general contractor. Duct smoke detectors have been mounted to the two return ducts but never wired up. Per the original HVAC contractor the hvac units are only 3 1/2 ton and do not require the detectors. The contractor and I agreed to just remove them. Also need fire extinguishers and the remaining round door knob in the basement changed to lever type.
