Discussed code requirements for a metal wireway options to install approx. 120 current carrying conductors from panel board to ceiling space with out derating.
As per 310.15(B)(3)- Shall not exceed 20% cross sectional area or 30 current carrying conductors in wireway, if exceed either derating shall apply. Dividing a large wireway into multiple is concidered same as installing seperate wireways.
Also discussed if general contractor could one side wall with drywall. No one siding is permitted on nonbearing wall unless needed for equipment or firewalls.
