During the rough-in inspection for newly installed overhead fire sprinkler piping it was noticed that the premise still has o-ring style heads throughout the building that need to be replaced (O-ring style heads must be replaced due to o-ring style sprinkler heads failing to operate correctly). O-ring style heads must be replaced before fire sprinkler final inspection and fire life safety inspection. After discussion with Ron Johnson with Boise Fire, final inspections will be failed on fire sprinkler and life safety if o-ring style heads are not replaced.
