Previously noted items have been addressed, emergency egress lighting/exit signage has been repaired, trouble on fire panel is due to a "Cable Tamper" on the anti-freeze loop (Anti-freeze loop valves are open with and anti-freeze solution is reported at -10 on the inspection tag), spoke with hired contractor, Fidel with State Fire Protection, repair is complete and fire panel is showing normal. Fire extinguishers have a current inspection tag but will expire soon, extinguishers will be inspected by a licensed comtractor and tagged accordingly. Final life fire safety inspection for temporary occupancy passed/complete.

Fire sprinkler heads in upstairs closets are located less than 24 inches away from heat register (fire sprinkler heads were ordinary temperature heads at time of this inspection). NFPA 13R requires ordinary temperature heads to be 24 inches from edge of heat source, 12 inches away for intermediate temperature heads, (NFPA 13R, Table 6.2.3.3.3) fire sprinkler heads will need to be changed to intermediate temperature and verified before final inspection. Fire sprinkler heads in main entry for all apartments have fire sprinkler heads that are less than 8 feet apart, NFPA 13R specifies a minimum of 8 feet between heads, the on site sprinkler contractor instructed that a surface mount light will be dividing the space between the 2 fire sprinkler heads, noted that distance of light below the deflector of the fire sprinkler head will need to be verified after light fixture is installed, if the light is not an obstruction then fire sprinkler heads will need to be relocated to code compliant of having a minimum of 8 feet between fire sprinkler heads.

No fire sprinklers, the building has an active fire alarm panel with a wireless communicator installed, appears that the fire alarm work was completed without a permit or inspection, fire extinguishers were not on site at time of inspection, fire extinguishers will be mounted in discussed locations and will be verified at next inspection. A FIR permit needs to be in issued status before final inspection for the fire alarm system to be completed. Life fire safety for this permit BLD16-02323 will not be finaled until fire alarm issue is resolved.
