Today I verified the panel, batteries, phone lines, phone line troubles, battery troubles and smoke detector over the panel. Most other devices have not been connected to the main fire alarm panel. I was unable to test the hood suppression system and a/v's in the Pizza tenant due to the approved plans for the space not being on site. I also pointed out the a plan modification is needed for the new devices (fire pump) and deletion of devices. Also a plan modification is needed for stair shaft pressurization as noted on the city approved fire alarm plans.

Contractor needs to contact plan review and discuss need for as-builts or plan mods due to additional fittings and pipe routing. No tenting is installed. I noted two heads too close to one another. No piping to be covered. Also verification is needed for irrigation piping connection.

Could not test the fire alarm interconnections due to most of them not being shown on the fire alarm plans. Also appears flow switches and tamper switches have been deleted in the stairwells. What I was able to do today was trip test both of the dry systems. The first floor had water at the inspectors test in 49 seconds and the second floor was 32 seconds.
