FIR08-00266 INSP-Final Inspection9/11/20089/17/20089/17/2008 1:47:54 PMPFAIL
Everything tested ok except the strobe in the mens restroom did not function, the sample tubes in the duct smoke detectors are not in the correct holes and the exhaust tubes need to be shortened per the installation guide. Also the strobes do not stop flashing when the horns are silenced as required per NFPA 72.
FIR08-00246 INSP-Final Inspection9/9/20089/17/20089/17/2008 11:03:43 AMAFAIL
The technician and I were not able to test the duct smoke detectors today due to not being able to put the detectors into heat mode for testing. Zone 7 indeterminant signal has not been checked either. The abandoned duct smoke detectors need to be removed as per IFC 901.4.4 and the wiring needs to be removed per NFPA 70 (NEC) 760.3 (a). The audio/visuals did test ok.
