FIR11-00330 INSP-Final Inspection9/23/20119/23/20119/23/2011 3:50:36 PMPCANC
Could not perform testing of the fire alarm interconnections due to fire alarm panel issues.
FIR11-00378 INSP-Final Inspection9/22/20119/23/20119/23/2011 3:49:58 PMAFAIL
A model 5230 remote annunciator has been installed on the face of the panel so that alarm functions are provided per IFC 906. After starting the testing it was found that the manual pull station when put in the normal "off alarm" condition the panel would self restore which is not allowed. Per NFPA 72 - 23.8.2.9 the panel can only be reset at the panel itself, not at this initiating device. Also in the course of researching this I was notified by the fire alarm panel manufacture that this panel is not listed for stand alone applications but is listed as a dialer. A panel needs to be installed that meets the intended application and this shall be submitted to the city for review as a plan modification.
FIR11-00095 INSP-Sprinkler Rough-in9/23/20119/23/20119/23/2011 3:37:13 PMPPASS
All items have been corrected except the plan modifications are needed to reflect the re-routing of mains, different branchline sizing, additional heads in remote areas and additional fittings that will effect remote areas. Final sign off will not be given until these plans have been reviewed, issued and any required modifications to the installed system addressed.
