I spoke to the general contractor about finding the fire alarm panel with multiple "Com Failure" troubles displayed. I let him know the fire alarm panel will need to be repaired prior to a final fire life safety sign off.

All items tested ok except that the building plans and the fire alarm plans indicate a fire/moke damper to be installed. Currently only a fire damper is installed. Either the fire/smoke damper needs to be installed, as per plans, or verification provided that a fire "only" damper is ok and the fire alarm plans modified to show the change.

Sprinkler piping can be covered. Overhead rough-in for the exposed piping is passed. The approved plans indicate 155 dgree heads to be installed but 200 degree are actually installed, Per Tim Frost this change is acceptable but as-builts will be required prior to a final sign off.

Permit is not ready for a final inspection. The alarm initiating devices have not been tested, ceiling tile has not been installed, wood has been installed above the ceiling at the pharmacy security door/track and an upright sprinkler head at the main exit is covered in tape.
