Met with RP on site to look at canal work (work permitted thru drainage canal owner with engineered drawings. Adjacent construction and addition over canal permitted thru City). Verbal Stop Work on grading work adjacent to canal until work can be performed in the dry as per plan. Note, canal was turned off this morning and only a slow tickle was present at time of conference due to inadequate pump capacity. Requested cofferdam at down gradient side of canal to be installed. Will re-inspect 9/26/12.
