(HP #3 - CAFETERIA) To remove horizontal portion of two existing grease ducts, 90'+, that run horizontally across the kitchen to share existing shaft with other ducting. To leave vertical portion of grease duct W/I shaft as existing and infill openings created by duct removal with matching minimum 1-hour construction (existing?). To cut openings above two existing Type I Hoods, reinforc opening & install new ducts per approved plans with Fire Master duct wrapp for rated enclosure per attached I.C.B.O. ER 4975 approval report. Duct wrap system SHALL be installed specifically per the attached report to be an acceptable alternate to UMC section 507.6. Work will involve removal of portions of the existing 1-hour ceiling (A2.1 Occupancy required 1-hour construction), aproximately 980 s.f., to remove ducts & repair back to match existing 1-hour system. New work includes installation of new grease ducts from existing hoods to new unit exhaust fans per approved plans on file. SPECIAL INSPECTION OF WELDING REQUIRED.
