(PICTURE GALLERIES) Remodel to upgrade restrooms in existing 52,850 sq.ft. building to meet current accessibility standards per approved plans on file. Work to include demolishing some interior walls, new interior walls, new ceiling over restrooms, interior finish, providing new fixtures and relocating other plumbing fixtures to accessible mounting heights, mechanical work, plumbing work, and electrical work. NOTE: This is a Scope of Work Permit. Letter of Completion to be issued when done. The existing tenant has not been analyzed for code compliance. The tenant and shell building were previously built in Ada County and recently annexed into the City of Boise. Plans for the orginal shell building have been scanned along with these plans. Ada County approved an alternate method of the exterior canopy having an FRT girder truss and FRT plywood sprayed with a fire retardent coating in this Type II-N building. This department will accept the existing condition for now. Any future remodel in the canopy area will result in a requirement to upgrade the canopy to noncombustible materials consistent with a Type II-N building.
