This project is for the excavation under an existing 2000s.f. single family dwelling. The object of the excavation is to creat a fully finished basement of 1580s.f. The excavation is to be in 4 (four) phases each having the new structural basement walls completed prior to excavating for the next phase. 2 (two) number 5 -bars vertical are to be installed at each outside corner area of the required window wells, completing the point loading created by the headers for the window opening. Special consideration to be taken for proper grout coverage at the intersection of the 3" pipe columns and the horizontal reinforcing. The 3" steel columns are to be protected with a water resistant coating to prevent corrosion and rusting. All work to be done per the approved plan as marked. Any deviations to the plan must be addressed by the engineer of record on this project "Mr. Colby Orcher" and submitted to the field inspector for verification. The engineer is to provide a letter of acceptance of the project prior to the final of the permit. Smoke detectors per '97 UBC310.9 are required. Seperate electrical, plumbing, and heating permits are required. .... pep
